What We Offer

The Power of Connection

Physical connection is a fundamental human need. Gentle, consensual touch can calm the nervous system, ease loneliness and promote emotional wellbeing. In a safe, caring environment, it offers a powerful opportunity to reconnect with your body and experience deep relaxation.

Before Your First Session

Before booking your first professional cuddling session, I arrange a brief consultation to ensure we are both comfortable and aligned. This can be an informal daytime coffee meeting or a video call if you're not local. We'll discuss your individual needs, goals and expectations, and I'll explain the professional framework and boundaries of our sessions.

It's an opportunity to ask questions, get to know each other and ensure the experience feels right for us both.

Preparing for Your Session

Please arrive freshly showered where possible, with clean hair, brushed teeth and fresh, comfortable clothing. A clean T-shirt, jogging bottoms, sweatpants or modest shorts are ideal, along with clean socks. If you're unable to shower immediately before your appointment, please ensure you have deodorant and mouthwash available to freshen up. Mouthwash is also provided at the studio. Good personal hygiene helps create a pleasant, comfortable environment for us both.

Arrival Times

Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

This allows time to settle in, change into comfortable clothing and unwind from your journey. We'll also have a few quiet moments to discuss your intentions, comfort levels and boundaries for the session. Sessions begin and end promptly, so arriving early ensures you enjoy every minute of your dedicated relaxation time.

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment is reserved exclusively for you, meaning that time cannot be offered to another client. I therefore require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booking.

Cancellations or changes made with less than 24 hours' notice will result in forfeiture of the full session fee. The same applies to missed appointments or non-attendance without notice.

Thank you for understanding and respecting my time and commitment to providing a dedicated, professional service.

Professional Approach

As a professional somatic touch therapist, I offer a trauma- and PTSD-aware approach, with every session guided by your individual comfort, emotional boundaries and physical needs.

My work focuses on the therapeutic benefits of consensual, platonic touch and somatic connection, creating a supportive environment for relaxation and emotional wellbeing.

Please note that I am not a talking therapist, counsellor or medical professional. Sessions focus on physical connection and platonic comfort rather than psychological or medical treatment.

The Healing Power of Therapeutic Touch

Understanding how gentle, intentional touch can support emotional wellbeing, relaxation and a greater sense of connection.

At Seguro Studio, I believe that human touch is about much more than physical comfort. Gentle, reassuring touch can provide a sense of connection, help us feel grounded in the present moment and encourage relaxation.

For people experiencing prolonged stress, anxiety or the effects of past trauma, reconnecting with the body can sometimes feel challenging. This is where a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to touch may offer valuable support.

Therapeutic Touch and the Nervous System

When we experience stress or trauma, our body's natural alarm system can become highly sensitive, leaving us feeling constantly on edge or in a state of fight, flight or freeze.

Gentle, welcome physical contact may encourage relaxation and help reduce feelings of tension or heightened alertness.

Research suggests that positive interpersonal touch can influence the body's stress response and may be associated with changes in hormones and neurotransmitters, including cortisol and oxytocin, which play roles in stress, bonding and social connection.

However, everyone's response to touch is different, particularly when they have experienced trauma. This is why choice, consent and personal boundaries are central to every session.

Somatic Touch and Grounding

Somatic grounding focuses on reconnecting with physical sensations and becoming more aware of the body in the present moment.

For some people experiencing stress, emotional numbness or feelings of disconnection, gentle sensory experiences can provide a comforting point of focus.

Grounding techniques might include holding a smooth stone, feeling the reassuring weight of a blanket, practising mindful breathing or experiencing gentle, consensual physical touch.

At Seguro Studio, somatic touch may involve holding hands, sitting back-to-back, gentle embraces or other forms of supportive contact, always guided by your individual comfort and preferences.

These experiences can encourage body awareness, relaxation and a greater sense of connection with yourself.

A Gentle, Trauma-Informed Approach

I understand that physical touch can be a deeply personal experience, particularly for anyone who has experienced trauma.

As a PTSD-awareness-trained practitioner, I aim to create a welcoming, compassionate and non-judgemental environment where you remain in control of your experience.

There is never any pressure to participate in a particular form of touch. Your boundaries are respected throughout, and you can pause, change or end any activity whenever you wish.

At Seguro Studio, the focus is simple: gentle human connection, mutual respect and a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself.

Please note: Cuddle therapy and somatic touch are complementary wellbeing practices, not medical or psychological treatments for PTSD or other mental health conditions. They do not replace professional healthcare, counselling or trauma-focused therapy.
